Press Officer/PR Manager (real estate and asset management) - full-time, permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum plus 15% bonus and healthcare plan

We have partnered with a global organisation that employ over 1500 people. They operate in the global property and asset management sector with a focus on responsible investing. They now seek to expand their communications team with a Press officer and or Press Manager.
As Press Officer you'll be responsible for media relations for all UK real estate activity in addition to supporting the head of PR on co-ordination of European and Asia-Pacific PR activity for all asset classes. Media relations will encompass activity stemming from news items such as: transactions, people appointments, equity raising, mandate wins and fund activity. In addition to great news stories and campaigns you'll work on thought leadership and manage some really exciting events.
Based in central London, you will work closely with the Head of PR, and you will also be part of the wider EMEA & APAC marketing team. You will also work closely to create cohesive mar-comms plans.
Ideally, your background will be in the property sector, however experience within other sectors such as financial and/or asset management will also be considered. You will want to be part of a great in-house team, and you will love writing and developing great content and making sure a brand has a 'voice'. Media relations is key to this role, as is great writing and candidates having 'nose for news'.
